A talk on sustainability
Earlier this week, during this year’s RIBA Annual Discourse, there was a call by Dr. Ken Yeang for us all to ensure sustainability remains a key issue for architects. He shared his belief that an understanding of sustainable design should be at the core of an education in architecture. These recommendations were warmly welcomed by the audience, and supported by RIBA President Elect Angela Brady who chaired the talk.

Following the talk, Dr Yeang was able to meet more of his audience at the signing of a new book, ‘EcoArchitecture: the work of Ken Yeang’, published this year. Thanks to a keen librarian (Jonathan Ridsdale) there is now - along with copies of his earlier works - a signed copy of this book in the RIBA Library for everyone to enjoy. Access to the Library is free.
