After the recent collaboration between the BBC and RIBA that brought the talk Dream Builders: Santiago Calatrava to the RIBA’s headquarters, it is with gratitude that the RIBA British Architectural Library now has a permanent reminder of Calatrava’s influential work and his visit to 66 Portland Place through a gift of special limited edition books, produced by his office and edited by his wife Robertina Calatrava.

Each one is from the architect and all are personally illustrated and signed with a dedication to the RIBA. The books, some in concertina format, are a rich display of his drawings of animated figures and are a glimpse into how the human form has provided inspiration for some of his high-profile buildings.
